Description
The Girl with Ramen Noodle Hair, is about Katherine, a fifth grader, who is preparing for graduation with a new dress and stunning butterfly hair clips but struggles with revealing her naturally curly blonde hair. Katherine regularly hides her beautiful hair under a purple knit cap since kindergarten after mean classmates nicknamed her “The Girl with Ramen Noodle Hair.” With gentle encouragement from her mom and two other supportive women, Katherine begins to embrace her hair as a unique and beautiful part of herself.
